Basketball Recap: Rock County Christian Skates Past Mountain Top Christian with Ease

There's no place like home for Rock County Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Mountain Top Christian 88-44 on Friday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Rock County Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Derek Quinn out in front who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Quinn a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Macen Osland, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 assists.

Rock County Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points over those games. As for Mountain Top Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Rock County Christian and Mountain Top Christian will both be playing Wisconsin School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Rock County Christian will head out to face Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Mountain Top Christian will host them at 6:30 p.m. on February 24th.
