Softball Recap: Washington County Commanders vs. Campbellsville Eagles

Washington County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 23-8 to the Campbellsville Eagles. The Commanders were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Emma Cocanougher led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marlee Tennill, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
