Baseball Game Preview: Osceola Indians vs. Weaubleau Tigers

Osceola is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Thursday. They will head out to challenge the Weaubleau Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Osceola's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matches, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Osceola is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberal on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Weaubleau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Warsaw, falling 14-6.

Weaubleau now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Osceola, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Osceola couldn't quite get it done against Weaubleau when the teams last played back in April of 2019 as they fell 5-0. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
