Volleyball Recap: Oak Ridge Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Oak Ridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Laguna Creek Cardinals by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Oak Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-11, 25-9.

Madelyn Snyder paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up 24 kills. Snyder got some help from Ella Hieb and her 29 assists. Snyder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Oak Ridge's win bumped their record up to 21-12. As for Laguna Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

Oak Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Pleasant Grove on the 30th. Laguna Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
