Basketball Game Preview: Northview Titans vs. North Springs Spartans

The Northview Titans will head out to face off against the North Springs Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully North Springs likes a good challenge.

Northview easily dispatched Clarkston on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Northview fell just short of Druid Hills by a score of 65-62 on Friday.

Meanwhile, North Springs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 53-42 victory over the Bulldogs.

Northview's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11. As for North Springs, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.

Northview was taken down by North Springs 85-30 in their previous matchup back in January. Thankfully for Northview, Esmer Madesko (who posted 36 points and three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
