Football Game Preview: Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones vs. Groton Tigers

The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones will face off against the Groton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clark/Willow Lake will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Clark/Willow Lake is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Webster a 50-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Groton was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Baltic 43-0. Considering the Tigers have won three contests by more than 42 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clark/Willow Lake's record now sits at 7-1. As for Groton, their record is now 3-5.

Clark/Willow Lake beat Groton 20-7 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Cyclones repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
