Soccer Game Preview: Woodstock vs. Richmond-Burton

Woodstock is 2-8 against Richmond-Burton since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Blue Streaks will host the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Woodstock will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Monday, then bounced right back against Marengo on Wednesday. The Blue Streaks put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 4-1 win. With Woodstock ahead 4-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Richmond-Burton waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The matchup marked Richmond-Burton's most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory got Richmond-Burton back to even at 3-3. As for Woodstock, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
