Basketball Recap: Clear Creek Now 11-1 over Last 12 Games

After losing to Clear Brook the last time they met, Clear Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Clear Creek Wildcats managed a 47-41 victory over the Clear Brook Wolverines on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Wolverines are ranked 13th).

Clear Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Clear Brook, with the defeat, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-2.

Coincidentally, Clear Creek and Clear Brook will both be playing Manvel the next time they take the court. Clear Brook will head out to face Manvel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while Clear Creek will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
