Huron had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Riverview Pirates by a score of 4-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chiefs also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Huron's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Riverview, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
