The Trinity Episcopal Titans will face off against the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Trinity Episcopal's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Trinity Episcopal is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Collegiate just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 7-3 to the Cougars.

Jalen German put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
German wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Taegan Logan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Beach Breakers.
Pierson GOODMAN spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, Collin FELTS was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.
Trinity Episcopal's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-2. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Trinity Episcopal has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more. Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
