Softball Recap: Patton Takes a Loss

Patton and West Wilkes squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Patton had to settle for second. They lost 15-0 to the Blackhawks. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Patton's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for West Wilkes, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3.

Patton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Wilkes, they will square off against West Lincoln on Friday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
