Silverado came into Tuesday's matchup having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 38-30 win over the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons on Tuesday. The Skyhawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Doral Academy Red Rock saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jasmine Southerland posted 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Southerland has scored all season.

Silverado's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Silverado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-30 loss against Rancho on the 17th.
