Basketball Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. North Royalton Bears

Solon is on a three-game streak of home wins, while North Royalton is on a nine-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Solon Comets will welcome the North Royalton Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Solon lost to Stow-Munroe Falls on the road by a 70-53 margin.

Meanwhile, North Royalton strolled past Nordonia with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-44. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Knights are ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Royalton's win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Solon, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
