Basketball Game Preview: Archbishop Hoban Knights vs. South Fayette Lions

The Archbishop Hoban Knights will face off against the South Fayette Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are still undefeated (Archbishop Hoban has three wins , while South Fayette has ten dating back to last season).

Archbishop Hoban is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Howland: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Knights blew the Tigers out of the water with a 77-35 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-19.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Fayette). They breezed past Mars to the tune of 82-35 on Thursday. Fans of the Lions have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

South Fayette's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Archbishop Hoban, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
