Baseball Recap: Bristol Eastern Takes a Loss

Bristol Eastern lost against East Catholic back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lancers came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-3. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bristol Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for East Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristol Eastern will square off against Farmington at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers are facing the River Hawks at the right time seeing as the River Hawks are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for East Catholic, they will face off against Manchester at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Red Hawks will have lost three straight heading into Friday's game.
