Basketball Game Preview: Union Red Hawks vs. Wayland Wildcats

The Union Red Hawks will challenge the Wayland Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 11.

Last Friday, Union was beaten by Northview 79-31. While losing is never fun, the Red Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 567th, while the Wildcats are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wayland beat West Catholic 50-45 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Wayland, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-8.
