Brookhaven is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-6 win over Northeast Jones. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won six contests in a row.

Jaden Allen had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 132 yards and three scores on only five carries, while also throwing for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes. What's more, he racked up 145.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Caiden Quarles was another key player, gaining 120 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Brookhaven was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 275 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 158 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wayne County, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past South Jones 34-10 on Friday. The War EaglesLady War Eagles haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Wayne County's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Brookhaven, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
