Basketball Recap: Farina South Central Comes Up Short

Farina South Central lost against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Farina South Central Cougars received a blow as they fell 62-48 to the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Macee Rodman, who went 6 for 13 to rack up 22 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City. What's more, Rodman also racked up five assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lena Bowlin, who posted 11 points.

Farina South Central's record now sits at 2-25. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, their victory bumped their record up to 11-19.

Farina South Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ramsey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
