While Central's win against Kennett wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Indians 3-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-9.

Central found their leader in sophomore Alaina Honza, who had 14 digs and four assists.

Central's win bumped their record up to 20-10-3. As for Kennett, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-9.

Looking ahead, Central will square off against Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kennett, they will challenge Saxony Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
