Football Game Preview: Belchertown vs. Greenfield

On Friday Greenfield will take on Belchertown at 7:00 PM. Greenfield are the favorites in this one -- although they were the favorites in their last game, too, so the odds might count for a little less.

After a string of three wins, Greenfield's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. It was a hard-fought matchup, but they had to settle for a 36-44 loss against Athol. That makes it the first time this season Greenfield have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Belchertown came up short against Ludlow, falling 6-20. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Belchertown.

Greenfield took their contest against Belchertown the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 30-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenfield since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
