Volleyball Recap: Meade Comes Up Short

Meade lost against Garden City back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Meade fell 2-0 to Garden City.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8.

Kenadie Alexander paced Meade's offense, picking up three kills. Alexander got some help from Sayler Stapleton and her three assists. Jayven Conley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Meade's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Garden City, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Meade has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Liberal on the 20th. As for Garden City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Scott on the 23rd.
