Softball Preview: LaGrange Grangers vs. Fayette County Tigers
LaGrange has gone 4-0 against Fayette County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The LaGrange Grangers will venture away from home to square off against the Fayette County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Fayette County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on LaGrange, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, LaGrange had just enough and edged Trinity Christian out 7-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grangers.
Fayette County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 9-1 to Mary Persons. The loss leaves the Tigers without a win on the season.
LaGrange took their win against Fayette County in their previous meeting back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 16-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for LaGrange since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
