Baseball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Seneca

Seneca won the last time they faced Daniel and things went their way on Tuesday too. Seneca walked away with a 6-2 win over Daniel. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

William Cutshall made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run.

Cutshall wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Coltyn Hawk, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Seneca's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Daniel, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Seneca will have a chance to go back-to-back against Daniel: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
