Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perry). Their defense stepped up to hand the West Marshall Trojans a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. Ayden Erickson was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Perry now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for West Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Perry and West Marshall will both be playing Greene County the next time they take the pitch. The Trojans will host the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bluejays will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
