Volleyball Game Preview: Western Reserve Academy Pioneers vs. Jackson Polar Bears

The Western Reserve Academy Pioneers will venture away from home to take on the Jackson Polar Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Western Reserve Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Western Reserve Academy is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 3rd on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to St. Vincent-St. Mary.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Jackson sidestepped Stow-Munroe Falls for a 3-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Polar Bears.

Jackson wouldn't go down easily and took Stow-Munroe Falls into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 24-26, 25-21, 15-5.

Western Reserve Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Western Reserve Academy couldn't quite get it done against Jackson in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Pioneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
