Soccer Game Preview: Saluda vs. Dixie

The Saluda Tigers will challenge the Dixie Hornets on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Saluda is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Great Falls as they made off with a 4-1 victory. The win was nothing new for Saluda as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meanwhile, Dixie made easy work of Brashier Middle College Charter on Friday and carried off a 5-1 victory. That's two games straight that Dixie have won by exactly four goals.

Dixie's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Saluda, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Saluda got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2016 against Dixie by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
