Basketball Recap: North Allegheny Takes a Loss

North Allegheny was the 72-53 winner over Pine-Richland when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The North Allegheny Tigers fell to the Pine-Richland Rams 61-56. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Rams are ranked 295th).

This is the second loss in a row for North Allegheny and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Pine-Richland, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

North Allegheny will finish 2024 at home by hosting Bishop Canevin at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Pine-Richland, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Hills at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
