Softball Game Preview: Acton-Boxborough Revolution vs. Billerica Memorial Indians

Acton-Boxborough is 0-4 against Billerica Memorial since May of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Revolution will challenge the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Billerica Memorial took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Acton-Boxborough, who comes in off a win.

Acton-Boxborough's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Greater Lowell Tech by a score of 5-0.

Meanwhile, Billerica Memorial suffered their biggest loss since April 14th on Monday. They came up short against Tewksbury Memorial, falling 10-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Redmen: they've now lost three in a row.

Acton-Boxborough's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Billerica Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Acton-Boxborough couldn't quite finish off Billerica Memorial in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Revolution avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
