Basketball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 59-47 to the Vicksburg Gators. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-17 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Warren Central lost, don't look at Camara Evans. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Ballet Duty, who posted eight points.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Vicksburg, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Warren Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-22 defeat against Neshoba Central on the 17th. Vicksburg has also already played their next matchup (against Callaway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
