Softball Recap: Burbank Takes a Loss

Burbank lost against Hart back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Burbank Bulldogs lost 11-3 to the Hart Hawks. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chloe Updike made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kassandra Davila was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Burbank's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Hart, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Coming up, Burbank will face off against Camarillo at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hart, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hawks take on the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
