Softball Game Preview: Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Malvern Leopards

The Arkansas Razorbacks will venture away from home to square off against the Malvern Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Arkansas didn't have quite enough to beat Fouke and fell 4-3. The Razorbacks haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Aniya Arnold was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Jewel Smart was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, Malvern had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Scrappers by a score of 13-8. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Malvern pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Arkansas, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
