Soccer Game Preview: Jackson vs. Miami Springs

The Jackson Generals will challenge the Miami Springs Golden Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson will be strutting in after a victory while Miami Springs will be coming in after a defeat.

Jackson is headed into the match without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Hialeah Gardens onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Friday. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Gladiators are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Miami Springs after they claimed the first score on Monday, but it was Hialeah Gardens who ended up claiming the real prize. Miami Springs came up short against Hialeah Gardens, falling 5-2.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for Miami Springs, they now have a losing record at 2-3-1.

Jackson was able to grind out a solid win over Miami Springs in their previous matchup back in January, winning 3-1. Will Jackson repeat their success, or does Miami Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
