Baseball Recap: St. Bernard's Central Catholic Victorious

St. Bernard's Central Catholic was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Trivium Eagles by a score of 4-1.

Jonathan Quigley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 15 Ks. He has become a key player for St. Bernard's Central Catholic: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 2-6 otherwise.

On the hitting side, St. Bernard's Central Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Pelissier, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Ethan Lewis also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
