Two dominant signal callers in Greydon Howell and Noah Wald are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Broken Bow Savages will welcome the Weatherford Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Broken Bow is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 70-35 win over Wagoner. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Savages' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 107th).

Jattairrius Neal produced another solid performance rushing for 132 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 119 receiving yards and three TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards. Dejhaun Hall also helped out as he racked up 113 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Broken Bow was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 296 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 168 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Weatherford had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Lions 28-7.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Weatherford's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Kalen Clift, Henry Davis, and Luke Downs, who each picked up one sack apiece. Clift was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 11 total tackles.
Broken Bow's record now sits at 10-1. As for Weatherford, their record is now 9-2.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Broken Bow has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 262.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Weatherford struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 182.3 rushing yards.
