North Idaho Christian wins going away against Immaculate Conception Academy

The North Idaho Christian Royals can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They strolled past Immaculate Conception Academy with points to spare, taking the game 68-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as North Idaho Christian also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.

When it comes to explaining why Immaculate Conception Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dominic Wilhelm. Despite the final result, he scored 29 points along with six rebounds and two steals. That was a full 55.8% of Immaculate Conception Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Michael Wilhelm was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Immaculate Conception Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win got North Idaho Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Immaculate Conception Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
