Lee-Scott Academy proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Benjamin Russell Wildcats 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Davis MacIsaac looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Max Hammer, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Lee-Scott Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Benjamin Russell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10-1 record this season.
