Volleyball Recap: Zayda Rosario Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Steelton-Highspire + How To Watch

Central Dauphin East won the last time they faced Steelton-Highspire and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Steamrollers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central Dauphin East took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-11, 25-13.

Central Dauphin East got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zayda Rosario out in front who had eight assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Rosario a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hirah Kashif, who had four aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Central Dauphin East was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 27 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
