Softball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

Brooks lost against Kennedy on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 9-8.

DarLynn Meaders was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Brooks' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kennedy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Brooks has already played their next match (against Lindblom), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kennedy, they have also already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Kenwood on the 18th.
