Softball Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic/Christian Life on Friday, St. Thomas More came back down to earth. The Cavaliers fell 7-3 to the St. Catherine's Angels on Tuesday. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Angels recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Maddy Breen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, St. Thomas More saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Lemanski, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

St. Thomas More's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for St. Catherine's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

As of now, neither St. Thomas More nor the Angels have any future games scheduled.
