Basketball Recap: Bernard Woodson V's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chesapeake Science Point over Crofton

Chesapeake Science Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Crofton, falling 61-35. Chesapeake Science Point was not able to make up for their loss to Crofton from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Chesapeake Science Point's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bernard Woodson V, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Salahuedeen Mason, who posted nine points and four steals.

Chesapeake Science Point's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Crofton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Chesapeake Science Point will welcome Glen Burnie on Friday. Crofton has already played their next match (against Annapolis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
