Volleyball Game Preview: True North Classical Academy Titans vs. King's Academy Lions

The True North Classical Academy Titans will head out on the road to take on the King's Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

True North Classical Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Reagan, who was ranked fourth at the time (True North Classical Academy was ranked 25th). The Titans lost 3-0 to the Bison on Tuesday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While True North Classical Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 29-27.

Meanwhile, King's Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Suncoast.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Suncoast scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 24-26, 25-20.

King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for True North Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

True North Classical Academy couldn't quite get it done against King's Academy in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
