Baseball Game Preview: Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors vs. DasCHE Spartans

The Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the DasCHE Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool fell victim to Coram Deo Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this match were averaging 3.7 runs allowed.

Meanwhile, DasCHE didn't have quite enough to beat Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization on Monday and fell 3-2.

Cameron Melerine made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

DasCHE dropped their record down to 11-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-6-1 record.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like DasCHE struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool took their win against DasCHE when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
