Heritage hasn't had much luck against Prairie recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Heritage is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12 runs per game this season.

Heritage managed to slip by Battle Ground the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Timberwolves came up short against the Tigers on Monday, falling 12-2. The matchup marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Heritage saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillie Stroup, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Prairie was able to grind out a solid win over Camas on Wednesday, taking the game 6-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Mackenzie Moore made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Kylie Moore was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Prairie, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Heritage suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Prairie in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
