Ridgeway won the last time they faced Kirby and things went their way on Friday too. The Ridgeway Roadrunners managed a 44-40 win over the Kirby Cougars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Roadrunners.

Ridgeway can attribute much of their success to McKenzie Jackson, who posted 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nakiya Burnett, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 10 points.

Ridgeway's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Kirby, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Ridgeway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 40-22 win against Melrose on the 21st. As for Kirby, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-25 loss against Fayette Ware on the 18th.
