Baseball Recap: T.R. Miller Comes Up Short

T.R. Miller lost against UMS-Wright Prep back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The T.R. Miller Tigers fell just short of the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs by a score of 6-5.

T.R. Miller dropped their record down to 8-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for UMS-Wright Prep, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Coming up, T.R. Miller is taking a road trip to challenge Northview at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Northview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Paul's Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
