Kentridge hasn't had much luck against Kentwood recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Chargers will look to defend their home field against the Conquerors at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kentridge has three straight wins, Kentwood has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Kentridge's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Kennedy Catholic as they made off with an 8-0 victory. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Like Kentridge, Kentwood also got a great game from a two-way player: Gabby Greenwood. Greenwood was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Kentridge's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's contest. The Chargers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Kentwood, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Kentridge continue to outrun the ball?
