Softball Recap: Sage Creek Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Sage Creek had won three straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 13-9-1 to make it four. They came out on top against Mission Vista by a score of 6-2. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with Mission Vista recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Makena Coleman and Lola Carson did most of the damage at the plate: Coleman went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Carson went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Torii Ramirez, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

As for Mission Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

On Mission Vista's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendra Mendez-Kema, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
