A well-balanced attack led Newton Local over Emmanuel Christian Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Newton Local Indians blew the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions out of the water with a 51-20 final score. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Emmanuel Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Macey Hudson and Mya Lawrence. Hudson posted six points and nine blocks, while Lawrence put up four points and five steals. Those nine blocks gave Hudson a new career-high. Nevaeh Skaggs also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
