Baseball Game Preview: Choudrant Aggies vs. Red River Bulldogs

The Choudrant Aggies will challenge the Red River Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Choudrant has three straight wins, Red River has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Choudrant's victory against Downsville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Aggies won by a run and slipped past the Demons 5-4. That's two games straight that the Aggies have won by just one run.

Choudrant's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Braden Bagwell, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave Bagwell a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Red River started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Lakeside. They came up short against the Warriors on Friday, falling 12-2.

Red River now has a losing record of 14-15-1. As for Choudrant, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
