They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Chester had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Griffins a 17-0 shutout. That looming 17-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cyclones yet this season.

Chester's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three matchups. As for Newberry, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1.
